Introduction

My name is Jim Lewington and I am the founder of Orbits IT.

Established in 2010, from their offices in Cardiff, Bristol and Birmingham,  Orbits IT provide IT support, security and related services to the SME market of the UK.

With over 280 clients, across all sectors, Orbits IT have built a reputation for delivering cost effective, customer focussed support and services. With nothing but 5 star reviews and no negative feedback anywhere, we are striving to deliver on our mission statement ever single day:

Our perfect client is an organisation of between 5 and 150 staff members who really value their IT. They realise that their IT is the lynchpin on which their business is built and they are prepared to invest and work with a provider to ensure this is reliable, robust and secure. We work with all manner of organisations from small charities through to larger commercial businesses – whilst they are all unique, their core requirements are the same.

Why are you a BNi Mercury member

We initially tried BNi over 15 years ago when we were starting out. We soon realised that we didn’t have the time required to dedicate to getting the most out of it so let it lapse. Now, with the business well established I am able to put the time and effort required to get the most out of BNi. I initially joined to find more local clients but this has evolved into not just finding clients, but also suppliers, mentors and friends. Our chapter in particular suits my needs – it is business focussed but in a relaxed and friendly way. I am able to be myself and build relationships based on this. These relationships naturally leads to business and referrals and whilst it is still fairly early in my BNi journey it is already paying dividends.
