Meet the man

Darren runs DPix from his commercial photography studio in Bromsgrove. DPix has been a pillar of visual excellence for nearly 30 years, a testament to his skill, passion, and reliability in the industry.

Over these three decades, Darren has collaborated with numerous high-profile brands, including B&Q, Peugeot, Vax, Next, and Dignity Funerals, to name a few. These partnerships highlight his ability to deliver exceptional photography services that meet the stringent demands of major corporations. His work with such a diverse range of clients demonstrates his versatility and adaptability, ensuring that each brand’s unique identity is captured perfectly through his lens.

Fully qualified

Darren is not just a seasoned professional; he is also a highly qualified one. He has been a member of the British Institute of Professional Photographers (BIPP) for over 30 years. This affiliation with BIPP marks him as a photographer who adheres to the highest standards of professional practice, continuously honing his skills and staying updated with the latest industry trends.

The What and the How

The subjects Darren photographs are incredibly varied, reflecting his wide-ranging expertise. While he has a particular passion for food photography (though he notes that he doesn’t get to eat the food), his portfolio also includes an extensive array of other subjects. From intricate jewellery and sturdy nuts and bolts to sleek chrome bathroom fittings and elegant beauty products, Darren’s eye for detail ensures that each item is photographed with precision and artistry. He also excels in corporate portraits, capturing the essence of professionalism and personality in each shot.

A bit about BNi

Darren has been a dedicated member of BNI for around 15 years. He is Mercury’s Mentor Co-Ordinator and Power Team Leader. His long-standing commitment to this professional network underscores his dedication to his craft and the business community.
